An ambitious group of staff from the Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre went back to the classroom to develop their skills and secure a top qualification.
The team of 12 Clydebank employees recently completed Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQ) and modern apprenticeships.
Training was offered to staff in conjunction with Motherwell College and the University of Strathclyde, with staff obtaining qualifications in a range of hospitality subjects including kitchen, front office, food and beverage and housekeeping.
Bronagh Bell, Business Development Director of the Beardmore, said: “We are dedicated to supporting our staff in their continued professional development and we are extremely proud of their recent achievements.
“The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre was recently named a Conference Centre of Excellence and this could not have been achieved without the hard work of our staff and their commitment to advancing their skills.”
The internationally recognised qualifications gained by Beardmore staff signify that they have the knowledge, skills and ability to carry out their jobs to a standard defined by the industry.
