New year, new Beardmore website

The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre, voted Scotland’s Conference Hotel of the Year in 2005 and 2006, has just launched its brand new website: www.thebeardmore.com

Highlighting the unique combination of facilities available, including four star quality bedrooms and conference rooms, a 170 seat tiered auditorium, health club and award winning restaurants, the website has a number of additional features such as:

• direct online booking
• a planning guide for conference organisers
• helpful tips and hints for couples organising their wedding
• the opportunity to sign up for special offers
• comments from Beardmore conference delegates and guests
• a history of the hotel grounds by Ian Johnstone, author of Beardmore Built: The Rise and Fall of a Clydeside Shipyard
• preferential rates for the public sector.

The four-star Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre in Clydebank, near Glasgow, has a waterfront location on the banks of the River Clyde, just minutes from the M8.

In both 2005 and 2006 we were named 'Conference Hotel of the Year' by Hotel Review Scotland. We have also been awarded the Green Tourism Silver award.

The Beardmore has also established itself as an integral part of the NHS since being purchased by the Scottish Executive in 2002. Along with the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, we make up the NHS National Waiting Times Centre Board.

The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre is being developed as a national NHS and public sector conference and training centre.
