The Beardmore Hotel & Conference Centre was delighted to win at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2012:
The Beardmore - officially a Conference Centre of Excellence
The Beardmore Hotel and Conference Centre has added another accolade to its list of achievements after being named a Conference Centre of Excellence.
The Clydebank venue met stringent criteria on facilities, accommodation and customer care to receive the accreditation from Conference Centres of Excellence, the UK’s leading consortium of specialist venues.
Bronagh Bell, Business Development Director at the Beardmore, said: “Conference Centres of Excellence venues represent the top echelon of conference providers. Our acceptance into membership proves that we are achieving leading standards of facility and service in our sector.
“We are delighted to be only the second Scottish venue to be welcomed into this prestigious group and look forward to working closely with our fellow members throughout the UK to share best practice and further develop in this area.”
Owned by the NHS, the Beardmore recently underwent an impressive renovation with its main conference room providing space for up to 240 people. As well as 14 versatile meeting rooms, the venue also boasts a 170-seat tiered auditorium with integrated audio-visual systems.
Kay England, chair of CCE, added: “The Beardmore strengthens CCE’s presence in Scotland with a member venue of the highest possible quality.
“It gives us outstanding representation in an increasingly popular region for conferences and events, and provides a valuable opportunity for mutual business development.”
